As a Maintenance Technician at Ecopack USA Inc., you will be an integral part in the successful launch of our new facility in Tonawanda. Working closely with a small team, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair production equipment, and maintain the facility to support reliable, efficient operations.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Management of mechanical maintenance for production machines
- Preventative maintenance
- Planning Management of ordinary, preventive and extraordinary maintenance
- Interface with external collaborators for maintenance
- Use of Computerized Management System
- Troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical problems within production and facilities
- Repairing malfunctioning equipment with minimal direction
- Repairing and performing routing maintenance on production equipment and facility maintenance
- Maintaining maintenance records and logs
- Researching and sourcing replacement machine parts
- Operates welding equipment, saws, grinders and drills for the repair of modification of equipment
- Shipping and receiving duties as required including unloading shipping containers with a forklift and pallet jack
- Moving large reels of paper with forklift
- Responsibilities for BRCGS Section 2 and Section 4
- 4+ years’ experience in the food industry and/or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical/ electronics, and pneumatics
- Understanding of programmable logic-controlled automation systems
- Valid forklift license preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent communication
